Almond Meal is finely ground almond nuts offering the same nutritional value and health benefits of whole almonds. Almonds are full of nutrients, have a high mineral content and are particularly rich in Vitamin E, Magnesium and Manganese. Low in carbs yet high in healthy unsaturated fats and fibre, almond meal is naturally gluten-free. Due to its high good fat content, almond meal is best stored in cool conditions to reduce the possibility of spoilage.
Raw sugar is light brown in colour as it is less processed and does not have the chemical additives as used in heavily refined white sugar. It does not taste as sweet and has a distinctive caramel flavour due to the natural presence of molasses.
